Game Zone: Cannon Brawl

by daiashi

About The Game

Description

Get ready to play the next evolution of the artillery genre! Cannon Brawl is an exciting mix of real time strategy and artillery gameplay. Command your airship to capture gold mines and build everything from cannons to lasers. Drop attack buildings from your airship, then pop into them to take skill shots at your opponent in real time.

History

Cannon Brawl was originally a tiny prototype which would become Cannon Brawl. Pete Angstadt entered it into the first Activision Independent Games Competition, fedexing the entry overnight just a few days before the deadline. Months and months later the results were announced and it took first place! Former Maxis partners in crime, Pete and Theresa quit their jobs to work full time on Cannon Brawl. They've been jamming on this game since July 2011 to make Cannon Brawl what it is today!

Features

  1. Completely destructible terrain and many ways to destroy it
  2. Full campaign mode with 20 missions, 10 puzzle levels, nightmare mode

This game is like the free online game Tanks but with all the bells and whistles - very enjoyable, to say the least. It kept me entertained, and that's saying something.
